The SGC 120 Mk II controller offers complete control and protection for a genset, its breaker, and the mains breaker. Its deep sleep function conserves battery by shutting down standard functions when the genset is off. Operators can view alarms on the LCD display and use Smart Connect Mk II software with M-Logic to configure settings, log data, and create custom alarms and logic functions.
The SGC controller is designed to manage a single engine with all necessary protection features. It ensures reliable and safe engine operation. Island mode is used in power plants that operate independently from other power sources.
In the event of a mains power loss or blackout, the controller automatically switches the supply to the generator, ensuring uninterrupted power. This prevents damage to electrical equipment during outages. The CT can be installed on either the genset line or the load side.
The controller supports communication via RS-485, CAN bus for engine integration, and USB for PC connectivity. These interfaces enable easy monitoring and configuration. It is CE and UL certified, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
