The ASC 150 Solar can be used as a standalone controller to integrate PV power into an existing site or as part of a larger power/energy management system (PMS) with other DEIF controllers. It optimizes PV output to reduce fuel consumption and increase renewable energy usage. Each ASC 150 Solar manages and protects PV systems with up to 32 inverters, offering plug-and-play setup and easy customization via the user-friendly M-Logic tool. The system is scalable, supporting up to 16 solar controllers within a PMS.
Ideal for rental and brownfield sites, this solution ensures minimum genset load. It needs power measurement and breaker feedback. Single sources use the controller’s 4th input, while multiple sources rely on genset controllers, power meters, or transducers. No power management communication is needed.
This system auto-optimizes PV power, generator operation, breaker control, and fuel usage while ensuring safety and load balance using plant logic. In off-grid mode, it manages PV output based on genset or storage data. In grid-tied setups, it feeds surplus to the grid, charges storage, and aligns PV production with self-consumption.
The system communicates with PV inverters, power meters, DEIF controllers, and weather stations via Modbus (RTU/TCP), CAN bus, or Ethernet. It supports hundreds of PV inverter types from various manufacturers. Compatible with genset controllers (DEIF/third-party), power meters, and transducers.
